Begin by reconnecting to your mission at work and identify your contributions toward the team goals. Follow your coach through an exercise in projecting yourself into that time and space. What do you see? Imagine the mood and observe how you’re feeling when you immerse yourself. Through this mental rehearsal, you’ll learn to feel more comfortable with your ability to move through the performance with confidence. If you’re comfortable, try imagining obstacles or problems that might arise. How might you overcome that and what are you learning about your own capabilities in the process? As you’re guided through the Performance Visualization exercise you’ll observe your mood and ability to adapt and perform. Leave the class feeling capable and confident ahead of your big day!
